Phoenix Crisis Center

We envision Phoenix Crisis Center as a catalyst for collaboratively building a domestic violence-free community by changing attitudes, beliefs and choices by individuals and the larger society.

  • Phoenix Crisis Center, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, was founded in 1985

and serves Madison and Bond counties in Illinois.

  • Phoenix Crisis Center is a domestic violence agency, serving the Illinois counties of Madison and Bond.

  • In addition to an emergency shelter program, Phoenix Crisis Center also provides a 24-hour crisis hotline, legal advocacy, case management and counseling.

  • All services are provided free of charge. We are a member of the Illinois Coalition Against Domestic Violence and are supported by the United Way of Greater St Louis.

  • As a non-profit organization, we rely on funding from the United Way of Greater St. Louis, Illinois state agencies, corporate sponsorship and donations from individuals in order to operate and provide services.

Our mission, at Phoenix Crisis Center, is to empower persons impacted by domestic violence to live safely and free from further violence.
